Homes in Kelly Park
Needing Special Attention
| The houses below are not necessarily
the worst looking homes in Kelly Park, nor the homes most in need of
maintenance. But they do represent some of the problems that are
widespread throughout the neighborhood. |

 |
1. Donegal 209-215 -- Like many in Kelly Park, this home
appears neat and well-maintained, but obviously one or both sides need
to be painted to match. |
 |
2. 1845-1851 Galway -- Probably both sides need to be
painted more modern colors, but at least the doors should be painted to
match. The doors were never intended to be painted the darkest accent
color. |
 |
3. 1869-1875 Galway -- Way too much dated, dark paint.
Overgrown trees and hedge. |
 |
4. 1893-1899 Galway -- Mismatched doors, overgrown
trees. Generally neglected look. |
 |
5. 183-189 Heather Ridge -- Clean and neat, but looks
like houses from the 1970s [left] and the 1990s somehow became attached. |
 |
6. 198-204 Kelley -- In spite of overall well-maintained
appearance, this house may get the coveted Kelly Park Turkey Award. Six
[!] colors, plus fake stained glass, and overgrown divider trees. Needs
fresh start. |
 |
7. 144-150 Jerome -- Right side ok. Left side looks like
neglected rental unit: stained stucco, shabby lawn, unpainted and
water-stained fence. |
 |
8. 1857-1863 Tipperary -- Typical of several units in
HOA. Dated dark paint, mismatched doors, old looking roof, overgrown
dividing hedge or trees. (Twin of #2 above?) |
 |
9. 1749-1755 O'Leary -- Everything matches, but all
looks like neglected rental unit. Needs tree trimmed or removed,
landscaping updated, and paint on stucco and trim. |
 |
10. 183-187 Shamrock -- Stately appearance but
mismatched door, too many colors, needs paint. |
